Roy W. Reter Tournament Experience: 6 Years During Roy's formative years, he fished
almost everyday during the summer. After taking a long hiatus - going to
college, starting a career and family, he decided to to join a local bass
club as a non-boater. Over a three year period he saw many successes at
the club level which included some first place finishes and big fish
awards. He learned many techniques, but his favorites include:
spinnerbaits, crankbaits, texas rigging, carolina rigging and jigs. After three years, Roy decided to step it
up to the next level and began fishing the WalMart Bass Fishing League
(BFL). He also decided that if he was going to fish at this level, he
would need to be a boater. In 2005 before the season began, he purchased
a 2005 519 Ranger Tour Edition bass boat with a 200HP Yamaha HPDI. In
his first year, Roy is in the top 100 boaters in his division and hopes to
make it to the Everstart level in the next five years. Also during this
time period Roy has also been able join the Pro Staff of some fantastic
companies that make some of greatest products around. Links to those
companies are listed below and he invites you to please visit the sites
and enjoy their wonderful products.

I hooked into this darling on my spinning rod on 8lb test (she still
stripped drag even though she was cold). |
